Hi! My name is Angela and I'm 12 years old. I'm from Padergnone and I'm Italian. I'm a student at Stefano Bellesini School and I will be in second class. My favourite subjects are English and Art. My birthday is on 6th August. My favourite singer are Katy Perry and Black Eyed Peace: they are very great!!!! I'm tall, thin and I have got long, blond hair and blue eyes.
In my family there are four people: my father, my mother, my brother and I. My father is Silvio and he is an Engineer. My mother is Lorena and she in an Italian teacher. My brother is Tiziano and he is 15 years old.
I have got one pet, one dog, and its name is Bobby. It' s three years old and it eat dry foot. It is small and thin and it has got a long, blond fur and a brown eyes. It can swim, run very fast and jump. I love Bobby!!!!
My hobbies are playing computer games, reading and playing Volleyball.

December 2011; Christmas time:
In December the students made a document or a powerpoint about Christmas. They wrote down their menus and showed some pictures. Some students even made a movie !!! A movie about fireworks, a movie about decorating a 4,5 metre Christmas tree and a movie about Christmas in Zundert.
Their work is on the TwinSpace.
Using the Live Chat:
We have had a date on the Live Chat. Our Dutch students and the Italian students were able to speak "live" to eachother in a safe, private environment. The Dutch students were very excited! During the Live Chat we found out that only 30 persons could join the Live Chat. But Mr. Wouters made pairs in Holland, so more Italian students were able to take part in the chat.
In the end the students tried to set dates, so they would meet eachother in the Live Chat after school hours.
Some students try to improve their English on a daily basis. For example Nick Peeters can be found in the chat box a lot. Also some Italian students try to make contact on a daily basis.
Some of our students even tried to set a date with their actual twinmate through an Italian classmate!
Twinmate pictures:
In February Miss Azzolini put a picture of class 2B on the TwinSpace. Now every Dutch student could find his or her Italian twinmate.
In March we also put some pictures of our Dutch students on the TwinSpace. The pictures were made by Miss Kivits and Mike van Beek was the one who put the names of all his classmates under them.
Traditional food:
In March the students had to hand in the assignment about traditional food. We had them explain about Dutch traditional food, what they have at home (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and about Easter.
Some students have already handed in their work and others still have to finish it.
We have tried to put their work on the TwinSpace as soon as possible, so the Italian students can have a look at it!
At this moment (March 2012) we are working on actual Dutch menus. The students could choose from breakfast, lunch or dinner. At this stage we found out that Dutch people often have international dishes...
Wraps, taco's etc.
We have to learn our Italian students how to prepare real Dutch food, so we will make sure that they can find real Dutch recipes on the TwinSpace.
The Recipes:
The students are doing a great job on their recipes. There are already some uploaded on the TwinSpace.
We have a 'smoor' recipe, our traditional 'hutspot', waffles. Even miss Kivits has spent some time in the kitchen to cook cauliflower !!!
The Italian students have some trouble with their powerpoints. We will try to put them on the TwinSpace as well.
We intend to make a booklet with all the Italian and Dutch recipes as a kind of reminder of this project and the exchange of its students.
